Making Food a Fact.

While it may seem like there’s enough food to go around, that’s not the case. Balancing work, education, family life, and self-care can put a strain on monthly finances, leaving us to choose between paying bills and buying food. We at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana are here to make food a fact, not a question. That’s why we’ve partnered up with the Montana Food Bank Network, a local organization that serves our communities through direct food distribution. Meal programs, food drives, food pantries, and meal-to-meal sites make it easy to access adequate food for the entire family.

Reaching out for a little extra help isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but when it comes to ensuring that our families have enough nutritious food to eat, every meal counts. An insufficient amount of food can lead to diet-related hospitalization and illness. Kids depend on us for healthy meals, so let’s provide them with the nourishment they need to power through the day.
