In Montana, bullying is a significant problem, consistently ranking as one of the top self-reported safety concerns among students in our state’s schools. According to the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS), 21.6% of Montana students in grades 9-12 said they were bullied on school property in the previous 12 months and 17.6% of students said they were cyberbullied – both higher than the national average.
